Adi Oasis

Adi Oasis – Silver Lining: Album Review

Staff, February 3, 2026February 3, 2026

A tight six-pack of bass-led neo-soul where damped drums and warm keys melt away stress with soulcraft calm

Silver Lining plays like Adi Oasis setting the room herself, then inviting you in. Bass first. Always. It pushes the air in soft waves, warm and sure, with drums that keep their edges tucked. The vocal sits right up front with that city-calm poise, syllables placed with care, never rushed. Little flashes of color float through the middle too—electric piano haze, a guitar flick that catches light, one bright buzz that turns the hook without making a scene.

My favorites live at the top of the pile for a reason. “We Gon Win” locks in fast, built on a loop that moves like a confident walk through the block. The hook lands plain and strong: “It’s gonna be alright / We gon’ win, we going to the light.” “Silver Lining” takes that same backbone and dresses it sharper, letting the groove carry the whole point. The turning line hits hard: “Since I made it all the way here / I might as well just say fuck it.” Her delivery stays cool while the track keeps nudging forward, bass doing the guiding, chorus lifting the ceiling a little higher each pass.

The next tier lands quieter and stays useful on replay. “In The Sunrise” feels like a reset you can hold onto, a small chant that keeps its hands on your shoulders: “Time to rise / Dry your eyes / There is a warm place in the sunrise.” She sings it with that gentle firmness, the kind that sounds like she already did the hard part. “Stuck In My Head” brings the most bounce, a clean funk tilt where the bassline grins and the beat keeps your knees busy. “Separate Ways” stays duskier and more reserved, the drums muted, the low end doing slow circles while the vocal keeps its distance and speaks in full sentences.

The rest of the set keeps the picture whole, and the short runtime is the one place the EP starts to feel too tidy. A few ideas arrive, flash, then dip before they get the extra verse or switch that would make them stick in your ribs. The lyric videos still sell the mindset—everyday spaces turned into a statement through posture and touch. “We Gon Win” puts her on a Brooklyn corner in a plush robe, bass in hand, ease framed like power. “In The Sunrise” holds on a tiled bathroom scene while Adi steps out in a glossy black fit with subtle touches of gold jewelry. “Cheirinho” with YOÙN floats in with a different perfume—lighter, sunnier, much more folksy, and carrying the feel of a song pulled from another project. Then the EP leaves you in basking in the daylight, shoulders loose and bass notes still thumping in your head.
