Honey Bxby

Honey Bxby – Shame feat. Queen Naija & BunnaB: Single Review

Staff, April 2, 2026April 2, 2026

Soul pull up top, trunk in the drums, and three women talking back with zero wobble in the voice.

Honey Bxby comes into “Shame“ already holding the last word. “Shame” flips that Wu-rooted pull into something smoother and meaner, with the sample carrying the memory and the 808s putting steel under it. That is the move. The beat carries real feeling, but it still talks reckless. Honey plants “Shame on a nigga for thinking he could play me / Shame on a nigga for thinking that he made me” right in the middle of the track and says it with full conviction, like the paperwork already got filed and stamped.

The feature lineup is what makes the record hit harder. Queen Naija brings the bruised side of it, still clear on what she gave and exactly where things turned. Then BunnaB steps in and cuts the softness short. Her verse comes with more bark, more contempt, more get-back in the blood, and that shift gives the record another jolt. That placement is smart. Honey sets the charge. Queen gives it heart. Bunna brings the kick in the door. Nobody reaches. Nobody muddies the point. They all know their lane, and the song gets bigger off that.

The production keeps the path open for all of it. It lets the sample breathe, lets the drums knock, and leaves enough room for each voice to press its angle without crowding the next one out. “Shame” does not need some huge left turn to prove itself. It wins off voice, timing, and the pleasure of hearing disrespect get sent straight back to sender.
